Finally I signed up!

After reading about so much about how one can make money through blogging via sites like http://www.blogsvertise.com/, I am very tempted indeed. And today, in fact just now, I've finally signed up for an account for free with http://www.blogsvertise.com/. I am so excited about earning money just by writing about a certain product or services assigned by http://www.blogsvertise.com/! Sounds easy peasy heheheh! This will certainly motivate me to update more frequently in this blog, now with the carrot in front of me. :P

Aiyoh! I just can't wait. Hope my account gets approved soon. *fingers crossed*

Feeling under the weather
I'm currently down with heavy cold and cough. Yesterday the sore throat was still bearable but it has gotten worse this morning.

I feel very sleepy due to the cold medication I'm taking. The Lozenges didn't relieve the soreness in my throat.

I wish I can curl up at home in the comforts of my bed but the doctor didn't give me an MC. What a bummer!

Meme: My 5 favourite Malaysian bloggers

First meme for me in 2007! I was tagged by Shooi to do this meme about my favourite Malaysian bloggers started by Pablo Pabla.

Here goes, in no particular order:

·
Loopymeals
I simply love this blog as James, the self-proclaimed drama king is very articulate in describing even the most boring event. I can actually visualize the scenes, like movie playing in my head.

·
Twinsmom
This woman is full of humour. I like how she injects humour in daily lives, and her occasional sarcasm in some of her entries.

·
FishFish
Her site is always full of mouth-watering delicious looking food. This gal also tries out some of her own ideas using simple ingredients from time to time, and whipped out a wonderful nutritious meal.

·
Viewtru
I like the sarcasm in his entries. And he’s got pretty good predictions too! LOL!

·
KennySia
Quite a funny guy when he does parodies. A site I will visit to lighten up a boring afternoon.

There. Actually I have a lot more but the memes caps it at five. Else it would be a long laundry list of all the blogs I read. LOL!

I am not going to tag anyone. But if you feel like doing this tag, please feel free to take it up and kindly provide your link in the comments, so that I can pay you a visit.

It's so affordable to learn foreign language now!
During my teenage years, I had wanted so much to learn a foreign language but didn't enroll due to the exorbitant fees language school charges. At that time still schooling mah... where to get so much extra money wor! Then there were books that comes with cassette tapes sold in bookstores, which is also expensive. So in my university years I took the opportunity to learn Japanese, although it's just entry level. Another language I'd like to pick up is French; it sounds classy and romantic!

Now that I'm a working adult, money should not be a problem you say? Well yes and no, I can afford but still think that the fees are quite expensive. Then the other problem now is with time management. I simply cannot find time to attend a 2-3 hour class weekly with 2 little children around.

However, with FSI, it will be so affordable, for anyone. Just USD29.99 for the whole course! Ain't this a good deal or what? The plus of digitally downloading the course, you can learn in the comforts of your own home and at your own pace. Further more, there's no trouble of finding storage for the books or cassette tapes.

So hurry! Don't miss this opportunity if you are thinking of learning a new foreign language!

Revived

I am reviving this site because there is a purpose now, and I think you know it without me having to mention it.

I have to admit while wordpress is easy to use and have a lot of features that I like, I do miss the flexibility in blogger. Therefore I will maintain both sites.

Now it seemed almost everyone is making money off their blog(s), and I don't see why I shouldn't.

You will not see posts about the children though; those will be posted on the other site.

That's about all I want to say in my first post after reviving this site.
